Welcome to the new official website of the British Hot Rod Association at www.bhra.org.uk.

Welcome to the British Hot Rod Association (BHRA), where the spirit of classic automotive culture thrives! Our association is dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage of hot rodding in the UK, bringing together enthusiasts who share a passion for vintage vehicles that embody the essence of speed, style, and craftsmanship.

Whether you’re a seasoned builder or a newcomer fascinated by the world of british hot rods, you’ll find a welcoming community here, eager to share knowledge and experiences. At the BHRA, we believe that every car tells a story.

From pre-1949 American classics to custom builds that reflect personal creativity, our members showcase vehicles that evoke nostalgia and admiration. We host exhilarating events throughout the year, including thrilling races and social gatherings that foster camaraderie among members. Our flagship event, the Hot Rod Races on Pendine Sands, is renowned as one of the fastest and most prestigious gatherings in the hot rodding calendar. In addition to celebrating our shared passion for cars, we are committed to preserving the future of hot rodding in the UK.

If you haven't changed your bookmarks yet, do so now. The club has been going through a bad patch lately, what with the club house burning down. We have also lost our car show venue and date, so it looks like there will be no River Run this year. So this year, we are going to make a concerted effort to bond as a club and attend as many car shows and functions as possible. Watch out for a plague of burgundy jackets over the summer!
